Doorstep

Terms of use

The rules, kept short

How to use Doorstep fairly and safely. Last updated 1 October 2026.

By creating or opening a Doorstep link you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Doorstep.

1. What Doorstep is

Doorstep is a free tool for sharing a location, directions and an entrance photo as a link. It is run by Extrafemi Labs. It is not a delivery, logistics or emergency service, and it is not affiliated with NIPOST, Google, Waze, Apple or WhatsApp.

2. What you agree to

3. Your manage link

Your manage link is the only way to edit or delete your address. Keep it private. Anyone who has it can change or delete your link. If you lose it, contact us and we’ll help where we can confirm the link is yours.

4. Accuracy

Pins come from your device and from where you place them. We can’t guarantee that a location, photo or set of directions is correct, so riders should use their judgement on arrival.

5. Not for emergencies

Doorstep is not an emergency service. In an emergency in Nigeria, call 112.

6. Removing links

We may remove a link, without notice, if it breaks these terms, if we receive a credible report that it shares someone’s location without their consent, or if the law requires it.

7. Availability

Doorstep is provided free and “as is”. We may change, pause or stop it at any time. We’ll try to give notice before stopping permanently, so you can tell the people you’ve shared links with.

8. Liability

To the extent Nigerian law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from using Doorstep, including missed or wrong deliveries, or for how other people use a link you shared.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

10. Contact
